Denton Academy of Martial Arts is a unique academy concept offering true martial arts and martial sports. We offer a multi-style system founded on seven martial arts styles with the exclusiveness of empty-hand, weaponry and swordsmanship in both traditional and eclectic methods in one complete system.

Shin-Toshi* means "new independent way." It is documented as America's first eclectic system of Asian martial arts. Shin-Toshi is a predominantly empty-hand system that successfully blends Chinese Kenpo, Korean Tae Kwon Do, and Japanese Karate for the expressed purpose of self-defense. Shin-Toshi's philosophy of martial arts is the nucleus that allows all of these disciplines to coexist in the form of an Academy.

In the video I forgot to say that kale, collard greens and mustard greens are more cold hardy than lettuce, Swiss chard and spinach and so they don't need to be covered or protected when the temperature reaches 22 degrees or below or a light snow is expected. If heavy ice is expected then you might just cover them to keep the leaves from potentially being discolored by the ice. In the video you will notice that I planted the very cold-hardy plants outside of the cold frame.
